The award was presented at the 22nd National Innovation Awards ceremony of the National Innovation Agency (NIA), held on National Innovation Day 2026. The stage screen read: National Innovation Award 2026, Environment, small enterprise, micro enterprise and social enterprise category, winner, Manee Mongkhol Gems Factory Co., Ltd.
The company develops the materials behind AVALON Artisan Gallery, turning green mussel shell, discarded at more than 50,000 tonnes a year in Thailand, into MyraGem for jewelry and MyraShell for objects and walls, with zero waste designed in from the start.
At the ceremony the company also had a booth, where guests saw the materials with the trophy beside them.
