Slow Hand Design 2026 was organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the theme Heritage Reimagined: The Futuristic Thai Crafts Evolution. Curated by Asst. Prof. Eggarat Wongcharit with DOTS Design Studio, it brought together 25 selected Thai brands. designboom listed Sea of Love among the works.
Sea of Love is a 3 by 3 metre scented relief built from hundreds of handmade MyraShell tiles in the Aroma Edition. MyraShell is made from discarded green mussel shell, and the Aroma Edition holds fragrance and releases it without heat or electricity, so visitors could smell the wall as well as see it.
The exhibition opened with an evening of networking on 22 April 2026 at Superstudio Più, Via Tortona 27. Through the week our team stood by the wall and passed MyraShell samples to visitors.
After Milan, Sea of Love passed the first selection round of DEmark 2026, and DesignWanted featured MyraShell among three Thai biomaterials presented at Milan Design Week 2026.
